Schedule of Events Meditation, House of Meditation:

Workshop ($30): Saturday, February 18th 12:30-4pm The Power of Presence: Meditating in Hell Realms, join Zen teacher and artist Virginia Parkum. We will explore the experience of meditation in places of deep sorrow, such as Auschwitz, Hiroshima and our own dark places. The afternoon includes a talk, film and discussion and meditation at the art exhibit As We Remember: The Holocaust and Its Aftermath in Poetry and Paintings. The workshop begins at the House of Meditation, 6496 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg and concludes at the Penn State Harrisburg Library's Holocaust Reading Room in Middletown. Transportation between the two locations is not provided. Cost of the retreat is $30.
